Why does this cause matter?
96% of disabled people
face difficulties when traveling.
While travel can be stressful for lots of people, disabled travelers don’t have the same solutions available as typical travelers. In fact, for many disabled guests, there may not be a solution at all.
Disabled or chronically ill travelers (and their families and companions) will conservatively spend 1.5-2x MORE than a typical traveler, without the promise of a comparable experience.
we believe travel is for everybody,
and we are dedicated to bridging the gap to help find, create, and expand solutions…then, it won’t just be a hopeful statement, but reality.
How does my donation help?
Development
What it covers: Pilot team, research and development, fundraising, and compliance.
Why we need it: At the most basic level, this is how we run the day-to-day. We think of these costs as the mission to activate the mission. Nothing we do happens without funding this first.
Care Support
What it covers: Travel and on-site accommodations for disabled participants.
Why we need it: Making sure all disabled guests who take part in our focus groups have what they need to participate as fully and comfortably as possible is the very first step to creating the lasting change we’re aiming for. This allows us to provide that support when it’s not readily available.
Sponsorship
What it covers: Awareness campaigns to make sure this message is one the world can no longer ignore.
Why we need it: Change can’t begin until people are paying attention. We get their attention by telling stories that stick about people and the solutions that truly bring about belonging.
