Coax out your inner child at Ofland Escalante, an unofficial luxury summer camp for adults. Situated at the nexus of three national parks and monuments, Ofland, formerly known as Yonder, is the glamping experience that begs for rugged adventures. With chef-curated meal kits, a “dive-in” movie theater, and outdoor showers that make you feel like you’re at a desert spa, Ofland is the secluded getaway that will recharge your whimsy. Our resident EIC, Hannah Huber, takes us through this nostalgic property you will keep returning to year after year.

Cabins & Airstreams

For the camping novice, Ofland offers ruggedly luxe accommodations housed in modernized cabins and customized airstreams. Think vintage inspired coffee makers, sumptuous bedding, and floor to ceiling windows that make you feel like you're sleeping under the stars. The property’s newest addition is family friendly and doesn’t sleep on luxury. The new deluxe cabins come complete with ensuite baths, a private outdoor shower, and panoramic views of the stunning landscape.

Van Life Friendly

If the call of the wild is nipping at your heels, Ofland has a sprawling campground that accommodates everything from tent camping to RV life. Each site has a fire ring, picnic table, and electric and water hookups.

A Luxury Take On The Bathhouse

To bring the camp vibe full circle, the tiny cabins and renovated airstreams use the property’s spa inspired bathhouses. Why shower inside when you can revel in a rain shower overlooking the red rock scenery? If you’re worried about that Utah chill, switch on the outdoor heaters to make your bathing ritual a truly zen experience. Didn’t bring your hair dryer to the camping trip? The Bathhouse comes equipped with Dyson hair tools so you’ll always look your best.

Vintage Drive-In, Desert Style

Don’t worry– you won’t need a car to sneak into the late night movie showing. Watch your favorite film in front of a rocky backdrop from one of the stationary vintage cars. A retired Airstream serves as the concession stand and popcorn is always on the house. ProTip: Try to snag the vintage Ford truck for the best seat in the house.

Hotel Amenities With A Camping Twist

After a day of hiking through slot canyons and red rocks, a dip in the pool is a must. Enjoy a lazy afternoon by the pool with a cocktail from the General Store and a good book. After you towel off, hydrate at the outdoor lodge while you catch up with new friends by the fair.

Fireside Dinners

Ali Rohrbacher, Ofland’s culinary director and resident chef, created the perfect meal for your camping experience with flavors worthy of a metropolitan eatery. These DIY meal kits are delivered to your door or campsite with cookware, cutlery, all the fixings for your fire, and, of course, s’mores. The best part? When you’re finished, just call the front desk and they will pick up the dirty dishes.  You don’t even have to light your own fire. For delish grab and go food options, visit the onsite food truck for an easy meal that won’t keep you from your hiking adventure.

Fido and Family Friendly

Bring the whole crew on your camping adventure without additional fees for your fur babies. Ofland’s deluxe cabins sleep up to four people, perfect for families.

Accessibility For Every Nature Lover

Ofland is adamant about welcoming all guests to experience the magic of this 20-acre property. ADA cabins are equipped with accessible parking, 11’ ceilings, extra floor space, and an ADA compliant ensuite restroom with a roll-in shower.

Getting There & Getting Around

We highly recommend road tripping the iconic Byway 12 to get to the property. You’ll love navigating the natural stone archways and sceneic throuways almost as much as arriving at Ofland. If you don’t have the time to drive, fly into Bryce Canyon airport which is about an hour from the property and still has some great views along the way. There is no public transportation so a car is essential to getting around town. If you plan to hike, make sure you have a 4X4 vehical to navigate the rocky paths up to the trailheads.
