When you step into The Siam you’re treated like family. Bangkok is a bustling urban jungle, but if you want to unwind in a tropical oasis far from the chaos, this is the place!

The Property

Set on 3 acres of lush greenery along the city side of the Chao Phraya River, The Siam is a private urban luxury resort located in Bangkok's Royal Dusit district. This hotel has been awarded annually since its opening in 2012 and it's easy to see why. The relaxed atmosphere, decadent service, and delicious food consistently exude excellence.

Suites & Villas

Choose from any of the property’s 38 spacious suites and pool villas. All rooms feature deluxe furnishings, oversized king beds, spa-like bathrooms, and high ceilings. Each suite is individually designed with original turn-of-the-century oriental artwork and antiquities. Did I mention each accommodation comes with a personal butler?! For the best views, opt for the villas on the riverfront.

Amenities

From complimentary boat rides to the extravagant infinity pool, guests have access to endless amenities at The Siam. They even have a Sak Yant Tattoo Studio so you can take your trip to Thailand with you wherever you go.

How To Get Here & Around

You have two options to fly into Bangkok - Don Mueang International Airport (DMK; 25 minutes away) and Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK; 30 minutes away). The hotel can arrange a seamless pick-up service, hail a taxi at the kiosk (expect long waits), or use the GrabTaxi app.

When you decide to venture into the city, the hotel has a boat shuttle service that will take you on a 30-minute journey to and from Bangkok’s main pier. Not only will you avoid traffic, you will love the private scenic views of the city’s riverside temples and palaces. Boat transportation needs to be arranged ahead of time with the hotel.
Accessibility & Dietary

The property is mostly wheelchair friendly with access to the main pool, spa, screening room,  and both restaurants, Chon and The Story House. Unfortunately, the Pool Villas are not accessible as they have steps leading up to the bedroom. Siam Suites, Garden View Suites, and River View Suites can accommodate wheelchair guests. There are ramps leading up to the lobby and most communal areas, while an elevator makes every level accessible.

Inform your waiter ahead of time of any dietary restrictions so they can happily accommodate you! We did a tasting menu at Chon Thai Restaurant and were able to get a vegetarian version for me.
