Check In To The The Shore Club Turks & Caicos

Fun fact: The Chambers Guide team met during a trip to The Shore Club on Turks & Caicos and it remains one of their fave hotels. It’s all suites and villas here, so no matter what room you’re in - you will be living it up with ample space, gorg decor, and beautiful views. Turks & Caicos is more of a hotel destination so where you stay will really determine the vibe of your trip. There are enough pools, bars, and restaurants to keep you entertained. Even if you’re not staying at the hotel you must book dinner at SUI-REN.

Suites & Villas

It’s all suites and villas here, so you’ll automatically feel like you’re living the high life no matter what room you’re in. There are 106 ocean view suites and 6 luxury villas to choose from. My massive suite definitely ruined future hotel rooms for me - if my room doesn’t have a kitchen, soaking tub, living room, and patio - I don’t want it.

Restaurants

  • SUI-REN: Combines Japanese cuisine with Peruvian flair. Best sushi in the area! Open for dinner daily and offers different specials on Friday nights.

  • Almond Tree: Featuring comfort food & wood-fired pizzas. Breakfast is served daily, plus dinner Wednesday-Sunday.

  • Sea Grapes: Poolside lunchtime dining & a swim up bar.

  • Colonnade: Lunch & dinner are served by the main pool. Options include tapas, pool snacks, & light bites.

Bars

  • The Rope Bar: Find this gorg bar alongside the Colonnade pool. You can’t miss the tons of ropes hanging from the ceiling - it’s a vibe.

  • Courtyard Bar: Sip on 🔥drinks & snack on small dishes in their open air lounge area.

Long Bay Beach

The Shore Club is the first and only resort on Long Bay Beach, giving you the ultimate beach experience. The water is crystal clear blue and the views feature long stretches of undeveloped shoreline. Guests can enjoy complimentary use of non-motorized water sports equipment like snorkels, sea kayaks, hobie cats, and paddle boards. The trade winds of Long Bay will keep you cool while you hang in the sun.

There are four different pools to choose from, all offering a different type of feel. Choose from an adults-only pool, the family friendly Sea Grapes pool, the elegant Colonnade Pool, and a lap pool outside the gym. Relax poolside like a celeb in one of the property’s selection of complementary and rentable cabanas. Enjoy food & beverage service from any of these locations.

Spa & Wellness

One of my favorite hotel gyms! There is plenty of equipment to choose from, all facing the gorgeous lap pool. There are personal trainers available to guests in addition to yoga and pilates classes and tennis.

Dune Spa embodies a holistic approach that draws from the environment of Long Bay Beach. Centered on the elements of sand, sea, breeze, and sun, the spa’s techniques, treatments, and products are designed to restore and revitalize. Indulge in a treatment in one of their three oceanfront bungalows all within view of the beautiful Long Bay Beach.

Guests are also welcome at sister property, The Palms, which has been named the best spa in the Caribbean.

What to do in the area

You’ll likely be spending the majority of your time at the resort since there’s so much to do. If you feel like venturing off property, we recommend: Parallel 23, Da Conch Shack, Coco Bistro, Infiniti Restaurant & Raw Bar, and Vita Rock House.

Accessibility & Dietary

The Shore Club has elevators that welcome travelers into the large rooms and suites at ease. Ground floors have no steps to enter the expansive luxury accommodations. For travelers that need a wheelchair to enjoy the beautiful Long Bay Beach, they do have ramps and a beach wheelchair available.

At each restaurant and bar, the culinary team can assist with ordering needs as applicable, while the Chef can accommodate all dietary needs, allergies, and restrictions as needed - from gluten, vegetarian, peanut, dairy and so much more. Just let the concierge know ahead of time any restrictions and they will make a note for all meals and dining moments throughout your entire stay.

How to Get There & Around

It’s a very easy direct trip from the east coast and just 15 minutes from the Turks airport when you get there. Turks & Caicos is def more of a hotel destination so where you stay is going to determine the vibe of your trip. Prices significantly vary throughout the year with increases during peak travel season. Uber and Lyft are not available in the Turks and Caicos, so your best bet is to arrange transportation directly with your hotel.
